Love the blue color with black!!@ Paired easily to the Nintendo Switch and worked great during use+feels sturdy+low price+programmable back buttons+headphone jack+thumb sticks can be swapped out (separate purchases)-volume max is lower than I’d like-back buttons have to be turned off every time you boot up the Switch from sleep mode-the home button is lit up and never turns off which can be annoying at times-the placement of the + and Home buttons are inconvenient. Too close to some other buttons and takes a little getting used to.-no vibrationOverall, I’m enjoying this controller so far, especially for the price. I got it to play with a headset on at night and it gets that job done, although the volume isn’t as loud as I want it to be. This can be fixed by raising the volume in some games but not all. I’d recommend it for that purpose if you want a cheap option. The sound quality through the jack does not flatten and pulverize your audio quality like power A controllers do. The sound has bass and I am hearing things that I never heard before while playing games. K.K. songs really come to life when I can hear them with BAAAASSSSS, I'VE BEEN MISSING OUT.The feel of the controller is very substantial, feels very much on par with Official Nintendo brand controllers. Again, not that cheep, hollow, light feeling plastic that is on Power A controllers. The programmable buttons on the bottom worked out of the box, Power A's were pretty much there for no reason because I could never use them.I wish that the cable was a pretty mint or teal color like the theme of the controller and that it was detachable but I am wondering if it's that way because it is beyond a regular micro-usb cable and might have something to do with that full bodied audio it maintains through its jack. If it's making it sound that good then fair enough.I had to wait a few weeks for this to come back in stock and be shipped out to me but the wait was so worth it. Yes, this is an initial impression as I literally JUST got it. But if any of my sentiments change I will come and update this. I often wait to write reviews until after I have used a product for a year or more to let people know if it is truly high quality like the products we are used to having from back in the day that last. What long term users say is very important. This controller feels like it will hold up but only time will tell if my hunch is correct.Wish I could give it 5 stars, but there were 2 things about the remote I wish were different.1) Charges via micro USB instead of USB C2) “+”, “-“, “Screenshot” and “Home” buttons are different to the how the pro controller sets them. For example, the Home button on the pro controller is on the inside right while this has it outside right.Other that it’s great: long play time, great matte texture, useful programmable paddle buttons. Will report if it ends up drifting.very good quality!Overall:Functions exactly as it states and is about the only way to get audio from a source other than your TV speakers, though the back buttons cost you some comfort.Good:Controller is ready out of the box3.5mm jack for use with earbudsThe audio cuts off the tv output automatically (similar to PS headsets)A really nice long cordBad:Additional buttons on the back are a bit too easy to press by accidentLess comfortable than a standard Pro controller because of the back buttonsThe controller overall feels nice. It's light, the buttons feel good, and the joysticks are also decent to use. The controller fit well in my hands, and the programmable back buttons were rather useful. The not so useful part was that I somehow got drift after just over a month of heavy use out of it. It's happening in my left joystick, which is not good. It's an intermittent strong downward drift that is making me lean towards just junking it/replacing the thing. Thankfully I'm not forced to bear with this, although a little drift is better than a button that double presses I suppose. The product is great! Nothing wrong with it, but the way it was delivered was not ok. The bag is open and you are able to see what the package it making it easy to be stolen. Please make sure all packages are wrapped properly, this is not the first time Amazon has done this to me.This product is clearly labelled as having audio and I bought it (and the headset) with this exact feature in mind so that may daughter could play Fortnite away from the screen wirelessly. When she has opened the box - no audio input for the headset to be seen. False advertising. It seems the audio jack is only on the wired version of this controller.Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! This controller looks and feels like it’s twice the price. The controls are tight and the buttons feel just right, the cable is really long and connected straight away - the headphone socket is really handy and using the back paddle is so helpful it makes me wonder why more controllers don’t have it. The left and right triggers are perfect and have a solid click to them, as do the buttons. The extra functionality is a real bonus. The control sticks feel a little bit too long but you get a replacement in the box which is smaller - so it a real bonus and the icing on the cake is the Link design - it’s high quality and really sets off the joypad. The only slight negative is the home button won’t start up the switch - but it’s not a problem.I think I might buy another one as a spare whilst they so cheap !This controller is truly awful to use!firstly you can't even turn the console on using the controller!!! There is no vibration or Amiibo scanner.Whoever designed the button layout has clearly never played the Switch before and has desperately tried to replicate the look of an xbox controller as they've stupidly mixed the buttons up!!! They've put Home Button where the + Button should be and the Capture Button where the - Button should be! This becomes extremely annoying if using a game that frequently uses these buttons as you find yourself constantly pressing the wrong one.The buttons themselves feel very clacky and clunky instead of a nice click.Sometimes the console doesn't recognise the controller and you have to plug it in and out a few times to get it to work. The only positive i can say about it is it feels sturdy and the wire is thick and a good length and the design looks good.Save your money and buy a Pro Controller instead!I liked this controller but it has some issues. It's comfortable and very similar shape if not the same shape as Switch Pro controller. The rear two buttons are about the same force as XBox Elite 2 paddles. The plastic button panel takes a little getting used to as you press one side you can feel it on the other side. The cable being fixed is one big annoyance. It comes with approximately 3m of cable which is good but so old school. The detachable fascia is unusual tactile feeling. The "camo" effect is made of fine etches in different directions, and the design did not match the photos.I had a huge pain trying to get the controller to be recognised in Windows with Xbox games and for this reason had to return it. It is recognised as a Switch controller by Steam, however.
