First off, I appreciate that the joycon covers are the soft silicone instead of a hard case. I know people like the hard cases, but I use modded joycons and the shells I've customized mine with are a little thicker than OEM shells, which makes finding covers for them impossible. This is so much more ergonomic than the stock Joycon grip. the slightly flared design makes holding it a lot more comfortable and less cramped, more like an actual controller rather than trying to hold a square. The joycon covers are also designed with ergonomics mind, and theyr'e super comfortable to hold. The grip also charges the joycons, which is super handy. I'm more of a controller person myself, but I might actually start using the joycons more, since this can both charge and it's nicer to hold than the one that comes with the switch. It's not like a portable charging grip, though. You still need to have it plugged into something else for power.
