This is a good product and works as described in remodeled bathroom. Installation was neither complicated nor tedious, especially if you previously installed Legrand switches. Only criticism: Instructions were written by someone who did not believe anyone would read them! The sensor operates in a range of 1 to 12 inches, so there is little or no chance of false signals as some others have indicated. There is a mild click, ranged from 17db to 20db, or similar to a click one would hear opening a deadbolt lock or a finger snap.Update: one criticism that has recently occurred, the switch is very sensitive to bright sunshine in that when my window roman shade opens in the morning it will often trigger a series of off and on events for about 10 minutes. other than that works as intended.
