I’ve had a lot of issues with our lake pump. That is the water source for our cabin on the lake. The switch has never seem to kick on consistently when the pressure dropped below the 20 PSI threshold. I’ve tried numerous types of switches from Everbilt, Pumptrol, and Square D, but all of had the same issue. I finally figured out that the lug screws were so tight, that when I tried to loosen them to attach the wiring, I was bending the contactsThe lug screws on these switches were very easy to break loose and the contacts didn’t bend plus I got two for less than the price of one of the others.After 10 days, everything is still working perfectly as this pump also services our sprinkler system.
